Must have picture books {Linky}

I saw on a few of the blogs I read a fun little linking party for picture books {what teacher doesn't love a good picture book?!?!}.  Who better to recommend great picture books than fellow teachers???  So I decided to link up with The Teacher Wife, Lindsey to share my top picture books!

I love the book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss!  It is the one of my favorites and must reads during Dr. Seuss week! It has a fabulous plot for first graders and of course so many crafts the kids could make that go along with it! Click HERE to snag your copy!

I also love Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  It's just so stinkin cute and some days I can totally relate!   Get your copy today! Click HERE!

One of my favorite childhood books was If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.  I still love it today and I find every year that my first graders do to! Click HERE to get your own cute little mouse!

And last, but certainly not least is The Kissing Hand.  LOVE IT!! I read it every year on the first day of school! One of my all time favorites.  I have already read it to Aubree about 10 times and she's not even 3 months old yet! Must have!! Click HERE to get it today!
